Abstract

Dispositif à associer à un appareil de détermination des caractéristiques optiques d'un liquide dans lequel le liquide s'écoule par tronçons ou segments séparés par des segments gazeux. Des guide-lumière en quartz 20, 21 interposés entre une source lumineuse 22 et un photo-détecteur 23 sont associés au bloc 16 dans lequel s'écoule le courant. Ils ont des faces 20a, 21a situées dans le canal principal 19 et inclinées à 45 degrés environ sur son axe. Les faces 20a, 21a servent d'interface quartz-liquide ou quartz-gaz suivant qu'un segment liquide ou un segment gazeux passe dans le canal 19. On obtient ainsi une discrimination sûre entre les signaux utiles, soit ceux qui ont traversé une colonne de liquide, et ceux correspondant à une colonne gazeuse et dont la partie arrivant au photo-détecteur est beaucoup plus faible en raison du comportement différent de la lumière dans le dispositif. Application à la réalisation d'appareils d'analyse photométrique d'échantillons.
