Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux installations radar, et a pour but la réduction des images parasites. Un émetteur émet successivement une impulsion A de fréquence f1 au temps t1 , une impulsion B de fréquence f2 légèrement plus basse au temps t2 après une période p d'une milliseconde. Après une période P, égale à plusieurs fois la période p, une nouvelle paire d'impulsions C et D sont émises, les écarts des fréquences f 3 et f4 et dans le temps p des impulsions C et D étant les mêmes que pour la paire A, B. L'écart entre les fréquences f2 et f3 est égal à plusieurs fois l'écart entre les fréquences f1 et f2 ou f3 et 4 . Les impulsions A, B, C et D sont émises par une antenne présentant une variation de directivité et qui tourne à une vitesse telle, compte tenu de cette variation, que les quatre impulsions viennent irradier la même zone dans le plan de rotation de l'antenne. Application aux installations radar de marine.
