Abstract
L'invention concerne l'industrie chimique. Il s'agit d'un procédé pour la préparation de la 2,2,4-triméthylcyclopent-4-ène-1,3-dione, caractérisé par le fait qu'on oxyde la 3,5,5-triméthyl-cyclohex-2-ène-1,4-dione avec de l'oxygène ou un gaz en contenant, en présence d'un catalyseur à base de manganèse, de cobalt ou de cuivre. Le composé obtenu est utile notamment comme intermédiaire de synthèse.
