Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé de traitement de fuels de pyrolyse contenant des asphaltènes. On met le fuel de pyrolyse en contact avec un activant liquide qui améliore et favorise la séparation des asphaltènes du fuel, cet activant ayant une température de distillation des 95 % en volume d'au moins 175 degrés C environ et ne dépassant pas 400 degrés C environ, et un facteur de caractérisation d'au moins 9,75, et on sépare par différence de gravité en 13 une fraction de fuel de pyrolyse à teneur réduite en asphaltènes et sans matières insolubles dans la quinoléine. La fraction obtenue peut servir à produire un coke aciculaire (pour électrodes en graphite) ou directement du noir de carbone.
