Cette enveloppe est fermée hermétiquement et contient un liquide 4 qui peut entrer en ébullition et se condenser. Le condensat revient à une partie formant évaporateur par l'action de la gravité ou de la capillarité. Application : appareils pour convertir le rayonnement solaire en chaleur.
