Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un frein à disques multiples dans lequel un empilement de rotors et de stators est comprimé par des pistons sensibles à un fluide de commande sous pression. Lorsque le couple de freinage dépasse une valeur limite prédéterminée, des jauges de contrainte disposées sur le frein commandent au travers d'un circuit électronique l'excitation d'une électrovalve. Un fluide sous pression est alors communiqué aux pistons et agit sur ces derniers en opposition au fluide de commande de façon à limiter le couple de freinage sans réduire la pression de commande. Application au freinage des avions.
