Abstract

Produits réfractaires présentant une résistance remarquable aux chocs thermiques comportant 60 % du poids total de fibres de céramique, dispersées dans 40 % du poids total de ciment, obtenus par chauffage lent jusqu'à 800 degrés C après la prise et le démoulage. Une liaison chimique s'établit dans ces conditions entre la fibre et l'aluminate de calcium du ciment. Application à la construction de pièces restant en contact avec des métaux fondus réactifs.
