Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ensemble d'électrode pour cellule électrolytique. L'ensemble d'électrode comporte deux faces de travail 10 opposées séparées par des éléments compressibles élastiques 20, (constitués par exemple par des tronçons de tube en matière plastique) et munies sur leur surface extérieure de guides formant pièces d'espacement 30, 31 de sorte que, lorsque l'ensemble est inséré dans une ouverture formée entre deux électrodes coopérantes 42 de la cellule, les éléments compressibles 20 sont comprimés et l'intervalle entre électrodes est déterminé par l'épaisseur des guides 30, 31. Application aux cellules d'électrolyse de solutions aqueuses d'halogénures de métaux alcalins, l'ensemble d'électrode constituant alors une anode de la cellule.
