Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de granulation de masses fondues. On projette la matière fondue 1, de préférence sous forme d'un film mince 8, contre un jet 10 de particules solides. Les particules solides sont enrobées et/ou se combinent avec la matière fondue qui se solidifie. De préférence, le film 8 est obtenu par projection du liquide sur une plaque d'impact 6, avantageusement vibrante. Le granulat obtenu peut être simultanément recueilli, et trié en plusieurs fractions A, B, C. Application à la granulation de laitier de haut fourneau, de verre, de métaux et alliages etc.
