Abstract

L'invention a trait à un dispositif de mesure en continu du niveau d'un liquide dans un récipient. Un tel appareil est muni d'un capteur capacitif, qui constitue un élément déterminant la fréquence d'un oscillateur, dont la sortie est reliée à un étage de commande et éventuellement ou d'affichage. Le capteur se compose d'un certain nombre d'électrodes allongées, qui sont disposées dans un corps en matériau isolant, de telle façon que le champ électrique s'établissant entre les électrodes puisse être influencé par le liquide des deux côtés du corps en matériau isolant. L'oscillateur se compose d'un ou de plusieurs circuits intégrés permettant d'obtenir des impédances d'entrée élevées. Application au jaugeage de l'essence dans les réservoirs des véhicules automobiles.
