Abstract

Système de transport en commun par véhicules sur pneus guidés sur la chaussée par une ornière unilatérale. Les deux rails qui constituent cette ornière sont fixés sur un caniveau en béton, de section en U, dont l'une des branches est surmontée d'une dalle amovible, en porte-à-faux afin de former un Redan de sécurité et de protection pour le rail conducteur qui y est logé. Le fond du caniveau est incliné afin d'orienter l'écoulement des eaux vers une canalisation latérale. Les roues de guidage, au lieu d'être du type à boudin, sont montées sur des fusées orientables sous l'action de galets s'encastrant verticalement dans l'ornière et disposés symétriquement de part et d'autre de l'axe de pivotement, sur un bras de levier constituant le bogie. Le capteur est fixé à l'une de ses extrémités. Il comprend un manchon solidaire d'une chape de fixation articulée, un tube tournant verticalement dans ce manchon et s'encastrant entre les rails et comportant à sa base un bras perpendiculaire isolant à l'extrémité duquel est articulé le patin-frotteur. Un second patin sur bras horizontal co-axial avec le premier, frottant sur champ contre l'un des rails de guidage, assure le retour du courant. Les quatre roues peuvent être motrices. La propulsion peut être assurée également par des roues jumelées montées sur un troisième essieu médian.
