Abstract

Procédé et équipement pour la mise en place sur colonnes ancrées au fond, à partir d'un navire transporteur, de chargement, plates-formes ou analogues, pour installations au large des côtes. Le procédé consiste essentiellement, le navire étant amené à proximité de la colonne considérée, à la stabiliser par rapport à celle-ci et à l'y amarrer, en faisant reprendre par la colonne une partie notable des efforts qui s'exercent sur le navire, cependant que celui-ci est positionné de telle sorte que le chargement se situe au-dessus de la colonne, étant porté sur les extrémités, en porte-à-faux au-delà du bord du navire et encadrant la colonne, de deux poutres de ripage fixées à l'ossature du navire. Principales applications : plates-formes pour installations d'exploitation pétrolière.
