Abstract

L'invention concerne la production d'ozone en laboratoire et dans l'industrie. Le dispositif employé comprend un conduit cylindrique de section circulaire relié par une extrémité à un moyen d'alimentation d'air et par l'autre extrémité à un conduit d'évacuation, ce conduit cylindrique étant relié à la terre, et un fil métallique rectiligne de même axe que le conduit cylindrique et porté à une tension continue positive stabilisée à 10 % près dans l'intervalle de 1000 à 50 000 volts, le fil étant limité par une surface comportant au moins une aspérité limitée par une zone sommitale dont au moins une section plane comporte un angle vif. L'utilisation d'un tel dispositif permet la production d'ozone dans des conditions économiques très favorables.
