Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour la mise en marche et l'arrêt d'un métier à tisser, du type selon lequel l'insertion de la trame est réalisée par l'intermédiaire d'au moins deux projectiles circulant dans un circuit fermé Le procédé selon l'invention se caractérise par le fait que : - lors de l'arrêt du métier, on immobilise les projectiles avant qu'ils ne pénètrent dans les canaux semi-circulaires de guidage constitués par des disques rotatifs d'entraînement, indépendamment de l'immobilisation de ces derniers; - et que, lors de la mise en marche du métier, on commande, dans un premier temps, uniquement la mise en rotation des dispositifs rotatifs d'entraînement, puis, dans un deuxième temps, lorsque ces disques ont atteint une vitesse normale de fonctionnement, on embraye l'arbre de commande des organes de tissage du métier et simultanément on libère les projectiles.
