Abstract

L'invention concerne une ceinture de renforcement pour enveloppe de bandage pneumatique. Cette ceinture comporte une nappe 5 repliée suivant son bord latéral interne sur une largeur de préférence comprise entre 5 % et 110 % de la largeur 5a de ceinture, à câbles en acier, et une nappe additionnelle 7, située du côté 5b, et armée de cablés, disposés substantiellement longitudinalement, en matériau élastique à module inférieur à 2 000 kg/mm**2. Ladite ceinture permet d'augmenter la résistance à la dérive latérale ainsi que la résistance générale au roulement et les décollements ou déchirures et, en conséquence, d'augmenter la durée de vie de l'enveloppe et la tenue de route
