Abstract

Plaquette de coupe, non réversible, comportant une ouverture de fixation centrale, une surface inférieure plane utilisée comme surface d'appui et une surface supérieure opposée à une surface inférieure dont la plage centrale, qui est abaissée par rapport aux plages périphériques et qui comporte les éléments d'évacuation des copeaux, constitue, avec les surfaces latérales, les arêtes de coupe de la plaquette, cette plaquette étant caractérisée en ce que les arêtes de coupe 3 s'affaissent, au moins partiellement et d'une manière linéaire, entre les angles extérieurs et la zone centrale et évoluent d'une manière approximativement parallèle vers le centre de la face supérieure et en ce que les éléments d'évacuation des copeaux presentent la forme de surfaces 4 étalées entre les arêtes de coupe 3 et le point central et aussi la forme d'une surélévation 5 établie dans la zone centrale.
