Abstract

L'invention concerne l'hydrogénation de matières charbonneuses pour former des liquides et gaz hydrocarbonés. Le charbon pulvérisé, entraîné dans une quantité minimale de gaz, est mélangé à la température ambiante avec de l'hydrogène séparément chauffé par réaction d'une faible proportion de cet hydrogène avec de l'oxygène dans une première zone de réaction pour former un courant gazeux à plus de 1 000 degrés C environ, comprenant une quantité majeure de H2 et une quantité mineure de vapeur d'eau. Les particules de charbon reagissent ensuite avec H2 dans une seconde zone de réaction en aval de la première. Les produits sont rapidement refroidis à la sortie de la 2**e zone et collectés. Application : obtention de gaz et liquides transformables en des combustibles.
