Abstract
Pour supprimer les phases de fragilisation dans la zone affectée par la chaleur de soudage de deux longueurs d'acier au silicium soudées l'une à l'autre - notamment d'acier au silicium contenant du bore - on les soumet à un traitement thermique pendant qu'elles son immobilisées, par exemple dans la monture utilisée pour les tenir pendant le soudage. Le soudage s'effectue en particulier à l'arc, notamment au tungstène dans un gaz inerte, et le traitement peut consister, par exemple, en une ou plusieurs passes avec une électrode non consommable ou un chalumeau oxy-acétylénique sur la soudure.
