Abstract
Procédé permettant d'obtenir un mélange de polyformaldéhydes contenant moins de 10 % de cyclopolyformaldéhydes. Il consiste : A. à faire réagir un biphénol et un hydroxyde de métal alcalin en présence d'un mélange d'halogénure de méthylène et d'un solvant dipolaire, et B. à récupérer un mélange de polyformaldéhydes aromatiques du mélange réactionnel A, le mélange réactionnel A, contenant de 2 à 2,5 moles d'hydroxyde alcalin, par mole de bisphénol, une concentration de 20 à 50 % en poids de solides et un rapport pondéral de 0,8 à 1,2 de solvant aprotique dipolaire, par partie d'halogénure de méthylène Application comme compositions de revêtement pour métaux.
