Abstract

Procédé et outil de coupe combinant, pour l'attaque de minéraux, l'action d'un trépan et de jets d'eau à haute pression. Le porte-trépan 7 comporte, au niveau d'une plaquette rapportée 8, en métal dur, constituant l'arête de coupe, plusieurs buses 10, 11, réparties sur la largeur du trépan pour l'éjection de jets d'eau à haute pression très concentrés, dont les axes sont inclinés par rapport au fond 9a de la coupe suivant un angle aigu alpha tel que ces axes coupent le prolongement du fond 9a de la coupe immédiatement en avant de l'arete de coupe 8a du trépan. Outils permettant, dans le percement de galeries ou de tunnels, ou dans l'abattage du charbon, de pratiquer une saignée au contour avant le dégagement du noyau central.
