Abstract

L'invention a trait à un procédé de détermination de la teneur en SO2 et H 2 S d'un effluent gazeux et du rapport de ces teneurs. Dans un tel procédé, on mesure la teneur en SO2 , par une méthode de spectrométrie interférentielle, d'abord dans un débit continu d'un échantillon de gaz additionné d'air, et ensuite dans le même débit continu de gaz après oxydation complète du H2 S. Ce procédé à réponse immédiate et non susceptible de dérive permet d'organiser une régulation efficace des usines traitant les effluents gazeux, contenant SO2 et H2 S, pour en extraire le soufre.
