Abstract
The control circuit is located between a low voltage circuit and the power circuit containing e.g. two antiparallel thyristors. The phase shifter consists of a unijunction transistor. Two optoelectronic couplers connect the low voltage circuit to the power circuit. The couplers' phototransistors (22, 23) are connected in parallel in the low voltage circuit and the two light emitting diodes (12, 13) in antiparallel in the power circuit. The phototransistors' emitters are connected to one input of a comparator (32) whose output is connected via a zener diode (33), resistor and transistor (35) to the base of the unijunction transistor (36).
