Abstract

The ski boot is made in moulded thermoplastic and has a shell, which is joined to a rigid sole (5) which is at least partly hollow (12). A high ridid leg (2) has an opening (8) into which a fixed axle (7) fits so that the leg can articulate around the shell. An axle (10) passes through the sole and the lower part (9) of the leg. This axle can move horizontall in a curved opening (11) in the sole and is joined to a shock absorber which can slide in the sole and has a coil spring in front and behind it.
