Abstract

The shoe size checking device comprises two-side-by-side card portions (10, 11). Each portion has a representation (12, 13) of the shaped area available inside a shoe. Each representation provides a warning of possible foot cramping. The portions together provide left and right shoe representations. A polystyrene plate (14) has an opening (15) corresponding in shape and area to the feet. It is hinged to the mating sides of the portions similar to a book so as to represent either foot. The plate thickness allows guidance to placement of a foot in the opening.
