Abstract

The telescopic folding umbrella has ribs in two parts (4a, 4b) which slide telescopically together. Supplementary ribs (12) are placed between tese and the cover (10) of the umbrella. The free extremities (13) of the supplementary ribs are rounded and are stitched to the cover (14). When the umbrella is closed they are foled along the main shaft of the umbrella.
