Abstract

The device monitors a person in a certain locate to provide a certain degree of personal protection or security. It is a minaturised, portable emitter sending out VHF or UHF signals which are received by a receiver in a nearby control centre. The emitter has several buttons which change the mode of transmission corresp. to signals meaning e.g "everything normal" or "person in danger". The emitter may also have a movement detector which can relay information regarding the position of the carrier.
