Abstract

The conveyor or driving belt comprises a flat rope structure, impregnated on the inside and the surface with hardened elastomer material. One end of the structure is joined to the rest by this material to form a hose, allowing the belt to stretch by up to 10% of its unstretched length, it being capable of returning to its original length virtually completely. It can comprise a hose-type support containing hardened elastomer material and round which the rope is would, this also having such material in it and on its surfaces and which joins them together.
