CE DISPOSITIF SERT POUR L'EXCITATION DES GENERATEURS ELECTRIQUES SYNCHRONES UNIPHASES ET TRIPHASES DE PETITE ET MOYENNE PUISSANCE.THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A BRUSHLESS, SELF-REGULATING EXCITATION DEVICE FOR SINGLE-PHASE AND THREE-PHASE SYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC GENERATORS. THE EXCITATION DEVICE ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT INVENTION IS CHARACTERIZED IN THAT THE EXCITER STATOR INCLUDES AN AMPEREMETRIC WINDING CONNECTED IN SERIES TO A CORRESPONDING WINDING OF EACH PHASE OF THE GENERATOR'S ARMCHAIR; IN ADDITION, IT CONTAINS A VACUUM EXCITATION WINDING SUPPLIED BY THE VOLTAGE OF A SUSDIT GENERATOR PHASE; THE VACUUM EXCITATION WINDING BEING SUCH AS IT GENERATES A FIXED ALTERNATIVE FIELD HAVING A NUMBER OF POLAR TORQUES EQUAL TO THAT OF THE ROTATING FIELD GENERATED BY THE AMPEREMETRIC WINDINGS OF THE EXCITATOR. THIS DEVICE IS USED FOR THE EXCITATION OF SINGLE-PHASE AND THREE-PHASE SYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC GENERATORS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM POWER.
