Abstract

In a bag filter, the filter bags are suspended from a partition which divides the filter space into a crude gas and a clean gas compartment. The seal between them is effected by a sealing strip which protrudes inside the filter space and can be pressed against a knife edge on the partition rim. Such a seal is simple and easy to operate. It is practically free from wear because it is clear when the replacement filters are slid in and out.
