Abstract

The vehicle number-plate consists of a rigid support (1), to one face of which there is applied a photo-sensitive solution or emulsion (2), in turn covered by an opaque mask (3). The latter incorporates, in the half-cut-out state a series of printed patterns so as to produce numbers, letters etc. when partly torn away. After exposure, the remaining parts of the mask are removed, and the plate is passed through a developer and protective varnish. The solution or emulsion can be applied to a reflective film glued to the support.
