Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer si une barre de combustible de réacteur nucléaire est mise sous pression, pendant sa fabrication, avec un gaz, une extrémité d'une barre de combustible chargée étant insérée dans une chambre libre, cette barre étant fermée de façon étanche à son autre extrémité et possédant un bouchon dans la première extrémité, une ouverture étant prévue pour faire communiquer la chambre libre et la barre de combustible. Selon l'invention, un premier récipient de volume connu est chargé avec un gaz inerte à haute pression, tandis qu'une communication est établie entre ce premier récipient et la chambre libre pour envoyer du gaz de ce premier récipient dans cette chambre libre et de cette dernière dans l'intérieur de la barre de combustible à travers l'ouverture du bouchon d'extrémité. Application aux réacteurs nucléaires.
