Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer des granules de pigment ou de colorant n'engendrant pas de poussière et faciles à disperser. On met en contact, en agitant, une dispersion aqueuse d'un pigment et une composition constituée d'un ou plusieurs acides organiques liquides aux températures inférieures à 100 degrés C, ou leurs sels, à un pH auquel l'acide est insoluble dans l'eau, on maintient la température pendant le contact au-dessus du point de fusion de l'acide jusqu'à ce que le pigment ait été totalement transféré dans la phase organique, on élève le pH à une valeur pour laquelle l'acide est soluble dans l'eau et on recueille les granules obtenus. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la préparation de granules de colorants ou de pigments utilisables dans les peintures et les encres.
