Abstract

Machine de fabrication de torons. Elle comprend des moyens d'alimentation en fils, à l'aval de ces moyens, pour chaque fil, un dispositif de torsion de fil autour de son axe longitudinal et, à l'aval de ces dispositifs, un appareil de formation de torons. Des moyens de commande des dispositifs de torsion sont prévus pour qu'à chaque instant certains des fils tournent autour de leur axe dans un sens déterminé et les autres dans le sens contraire de façon que la somme des moments appliqués aux fils pour les tordre soit sensiblement nulle. Application : fabrication de torons de quatre fils, ou quartes, pour le réseau téléphonique.
