Abstract

Appareil horaire indiquant, en plus de l'heure et de la minute, la configuration du ciel à n'importe quel moment de la journée, du mois, de l'année. Nous voyons comme dans la réalité les astres se lever, passer au méridien et se coucher. Il comprend en son centre un disque où sont portées les constellations et tournant en une année dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre. Un second disque l'occulte en partie, ne laissant apparaître que les constellations visibles, et tournant en 24 heures dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre. Cet appareil peut être d'un intérêt tout particulier pour les amateurs d'astronomie, pour les amateurs de navigation de plaisance et, aussi, tout simplement, pour les amoureux du ciel.
