Abstract

a. Circuit électro-optique intégré du genre comportant, à la surface d'un substrat en matériau diélectrique, au moins deux guides minces de lumière latéralement délimités et en intersection, réalisés en un matériau électro-optique, d'autre part une paire d'électrodes en forme de peignes plaquées sur l'intersection. b. Ledit circuit comporte deux pluralités de guides, chaque guide d'une pluralité étant intersecté par tous les guides de l'autre pluralité et étant conformé de telle sorte que les deux pluralités forment un réseau maillé orthogonal. c. Commutation de signaux de télécommunications à fréquence élevée ou à grand débit.
