Véhicule dont les bogies 1 comportent deux essieux montés 5 et 5a dont les dispositifs de commande 13 sont identiques et les moteurs de traction identiques 14 tournent dans le même sens. Les pressions au repos des roues << critiques >> 9 et 9a qui subissent les plus fortes décharges lors des freinages dans les descentes sont supérieures aux pressions au repos des autres roues 8 et 8a Cette augmentation de pression peut s'obtenir par une précontrainte complémentaire des ressorts de la suspension primaire de ces roues critiques. Application aux chemins de fer de montagne afin d'accroître la sécurité contre les déraillements.
