Abstract

Dispositif permettant de déceler le cliquetis, même naissant, et d'y remédier. Deux sondes d'ionisation sont agencées dans une chambre d'explosion d'un cylindre, en une zone éloignée de la bougie d'allumage. L'intervalle de temps écoulé entre les signaux que les deux sondes émettent lorsque l'état d'ionisation change, est mesuré et comparé à une valeur de référence appropriée et le résultat de cette comparaison est utilisé à des fins de signalisation et/ou de modification de l'avance. Domaine d'application : tous moteurs à combustion interne à allumage commandé.
