Il comprend un élément chauffant 52 et un tube d'aspiration 50 dont les caractéristiques, au point de vue thermique, sont telles que la partie arrière 202 de ce tube est élevée à la température de fusion de la soudure peu de temps après qu'une pointe creuse 12 introduite aussi dans l'élément chauffant 52 a atteint cette température. L'invention est utile en particulier sur les fers à dessouder.
