Abstract

Cellule d'électrolyse, telle qu'une cellule utilisée pour la réalisation d'un électrolyseur destiné à la production d'hydrogène à l'échelle industrielle. Elle est constituée par une succession alternée d'électrodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 7 et de diaphragmes 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 plans, parallèles et séparés les uns des autres par des intervalles 58 dans lesquels peut circuler un électrolyte dont les entrées sont situées sur une face 14 de la cellule et les sorties sur la face opposée 15. Les faces d'entrée et de sortie 14, 15 sont parallèles aux électrodes et l'ensemble forme une structure compacte comprenant des canaux d'entrée 20, 21 et de sortie 12, 23 rectilignes reliés entre eux par lesdits intervalles 58. L'invention trouve son application dans l'industrie de la production de gaz, tels que de l'hydrogène ou de l'oxygène.
