ON REALISE UN CHAUFFAGE DE LA SURFACE INTERNE DU TUBE PAR BALAYAGE PAR UN ARC ELECTRIQUE SOUS GAZ INERTE DE FACON QUE CETTE SURFACE ATTEIGNE UNE TEMPERATURE ELEVEE MAIS INFERIEURE AU POINT DE FUSION DU METAL CONSTITUANT LE TUBE. ON ENVOIE UN GAZ INERTE DANS LE TUBE PAR SON EXTREMITE OPPOSEE A L'EXTREMITE A EXTRAIRE ET ON FAIT CIRCULER UN LIQUIDE DE REFROIDISSEMENT DANS LES TUBES VOISINS DU TUBE A EXTRAIRE. L'OPERATION RESULTE DANS UNE ELIMINATION DES CONTRAINTES DE SERTISSAGE DANS LE TUBE.
