Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'utilisation d'un combustible liquide dans une installation destinée à brûler un combustible gazeux. Après atomisation du combustible liquide en des gouttelettes très petites, ledit procédé consiste à mélanger ces dernières avec un gaz diluant circulant dans le même sens avant d'être chauffé. Le mélange des gouttelettes et du gaz diluant est chauffé jusqu'à ce que les gouttelettes soient vaporisées et qu'il se forme un mélange de vapeur combustible et de gaz diluant. Ce mélange est mis en circulation sous pression de manière qu'il passe par un orifice pour entrer dans un brûleur. Application aux installations telles que des fours équipés de brûleurs à gaz.
