Abstract

The deck chair is covered with a cover made of canvas or other material. The chair frame consists of two folding side units which are separate and can be delivered to the buyer in folded up form. A series of cross pieces have ends receiving attachments for fixing them to various parts of the two folding side units. The chair has an extension with two other folding units forming the side and foot. The crosspiece between the two folding units and the main frame part incorporates pins fitting into holes in the ends and side of the extension.
