Abstract

Dans ce dispositif de conversion d'un lot de données d'un contour 50 d'un caractère en des coordonnées de points selon une règle de conversion selon laquelle chaque jambage 44 du caractère est formé par des éléments d'image situés sur un contour du jambage satisfaisant à une exigence prédéterminée, lorsque le contour est affiché sur un écran, il est prévu des moyens servant à convertir des données de contour représentant des parties d'extrémité d'ornementation 46, 48 des jambages du caractère en un ensemble de données de points dans un système de coordonnées. Application notamment à l'affichage et au traitement informatique de lettres et de symboles.
