L'invention se rapporte au domaine technique de l'affichage et de la visualisation des informations de conduite dans un véhicule automobile .Elle concerne un dispositif, dit de visualisation-tête haute (Head Up Display ou H.U.D) ,ou de visualisation tête moyenne (H.M.D).DEVICE FOR VIEWING INFORMATION BY PRO.1ECTION

L'augmentation de la quantité d'informations à fournir au conducteur et l'aspect d'urgence de certaines d'entre elles favorisent l'introduction dans l'automobile de systèmes de visualisation-tête haute ,ou tête moyenne ,mis en oeuvre depuis plusieurs années dans l'industrie aéronautique. En effet le paysage vu à travers le mélangeur ,et superposé par celuici aux informations de conduite ,présente des niveaux de brillance lumineuse très variables. Ces variations affectent considérablement les performances d'un tel système. Elles sont à l'origine de nombreux problèmes de restitution dont notamment:
- la diminution du contraste dans les conditions de fort
éclairement (journées ensoleillées ,neige ,...),
- la perception parasite, par reflet sur le mélangeur, d'éléments
constitutifs du dispositif ,tels que le cadre de l'afficheur ou de
la planche de bord : cette perception parasite intervient
