Abstract

Parmi ces dispositifs on peut citer celui décrit dans le brevet allemand DE 317 966, constitué par un ensemble tubulaire coulissant et articulé, se posant sur le lit et permettant de donner à la jambe l'élévation et le fléchissement désiré au niveau du genou. La demande de brevet allemand DE 2 038 484 décrit un autre assemblage tubulaire coulissant et articulé procurant le même résultat.Dans les dispositifs précités, il n'est pas possible de régler la longueur de la partie sur laquelle la cuisse se trouve en appui. La demande de brevet européen EP 0 074 334 constitue un perfectionnement aux dispositifs précédents en ce que l'ensemble tubulaire comporte des moyens permettant de régler la longueur de la partie sur laquelle la cuisse est en appui. Dans tous les cas ces dispositifs, en étant simplement posés sur le lit, ne présentent pas la stabilité souhaitable.De plus, il est très difficile de trouver à priori la conformation du dispositif convenant le mieux au patient avant de glisser ledit dispositif sous ce dernier : il est donc très souvent nécessaire de procéder à de nouveaux réglages des parties articulées ou coulissantes, voire de manipuler le patient lui-même, pour finalement utiliser encore des coussins pour parfaire son installation en particulier au niveau des cuisses.
