Abstract

Ce revêtement mural (1) comprenant une couche de décoration (5) destinée à être vue et une couche d'isolation acoustique (7) destinée à être positionnée entre ladite couche de décoration (5) et un mur (3), est remarquable en ce que ladite couche d'isolation (7) est solidaire de ladite couche de décoration (5).Application aux revêtements décoratifs destinés à être posés par collage, de manière analogue aux revêtements muraux classiques.

Description

La présente invention se rapporte à un revêtement mural.
On connaît de la technique antérieure un revêtement mural comprenant une couche de décoration destinée à être vue et une couche d'isolation acoustique destinée à être positionnée entre ladite couche de décoration et un mur.
Un tel revêtement permet de limiter la réverbération du son sur les murs et de réduire le niveau de bruit provenant de l'extérieur, et ainsi d'améliorer le confort acoustique d'une pièce destinée à être habitée.
Classiquement, pour poser un tel revêtement, on commence par fixer la couche d'isolation (laquelle peut consister par exemple en un molleton) sur le mur.
Ensuite, on recouvre cette couche d'isolation par la couche de décoration (laquelle peut consister par exemple en un tissu tendu).
S'il permet d'atteindre des résultats acoustiques et esthétiques tout à fait, satisfaisants, un tel revêtement mural n'en demeure pas moins long et coûteux à poser.
En effet, les couches de décoration et d'isolation doivent être posées successivement, et il est nécessaire d'avoir recours à une main d'oeuvre très qualifiée notamment pour effectuer correctement les raccords dans les coins.
La présente invention a pour but de fournir un revêtement mural du type susmentionné qui ne présente pas ces inconvénients.
On atteint ce but de l'invention avec un revêtement mural comprenant une couche de décoration destinée à être vue et une couche d'isolation acoustique destinée à être positionnée entre ladite couche de décoration et un mur, remarquable en ce que ladite couche d'isolation est solidaire de ladite couche de décoration.
Grâce à ces caractéristiques, les couches de décoration et d'isolation du revêtement selon l'invention forment une sorte de complexe bi-couche qui peut être posé en une seule et même opération, et qui peut être raccordé sans difficulté notamment dans les coins.
Suivant une autre caractéristique de l'invention, ladite couche de décoration est microporeuse.
Grâce à cette caractéristique, le revêtement mural selon l'invention permet de piéger et d'amortir le son émis dans une pièce.
Suivant encore d'autres caractéristiques de l'invention: - ladite couche d'isolation acoustique présente également des propriétés d'isolation thermique, - ladite couche de décoration est formée dans un matériau choisi dans le groupe comprenant la toile de verre, le non-tissé et le papier, - ladite couche d'isolation est un molleton formé dans un matériau choisi dans le groupe comprenant la Viscose (marque déposée), le polyester, le polypropylène et le coton.
D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de la présente invention apparaîtront à la lecture de la description qui va suivre et à l'examen du dessin annexé, dont l'unique figure représente en perspective le revêtement mural selon l'invention ainsi qu'un mur sur lequel ce revêtement est destiné à être posé.
Comme on peut le voir sur cette figure, le revêtement mural 1 selon l'invention destiné à être posé sur un mur 3 comprend une couche de décoration 5 et une couche d'isolation acoustique 7.
La couche d'isolation acoustique 7 est destinée à être positionnée entre la couche de décoration 5 et le mur 3.
La couche de décoration 5 est destinée à être vue et elle peut présenter un motif décoratif 9. Cette couche de décoration est de préférence microporeuse et elle est de préférence choisie dans le groupe comprenant la toile de verre, le non-tissé et le papier.
La couche d'isolation acoustique 7 est de préférence un molleton formé dans un matériau choisi dans le groupe comprenant la Viscose (marque déposée), le polyester, le polypropylène et le coton.
Cette couche d'isolation acoustique présente de préférence également des propriétés d'isolation thermique.
Selon une caractéristique essentielle de l'invention, les couches de décoration 5 et d'isolation acoustique 7 sont solidaires l'une de l'autre, de manière à former une sorte de complexe bi-couche.
Ces deux couches peuvent être maintenues solidaires l'une de l'autre par collage, par thermocollage ou par tout autre moyen connu de l'homme du métier.
Le mode de mise en oeuvre et les avantages du revêtement mural selon l'invention résultent directement de la description qui précède.
Pour poser ce revêtement 1 sur le mur 3, on procède exactement comme pour poser un revêtement mural classique: on enduit le mur de colle et on plaque ce revêtement contre ce mur.
Ainsi, en une seule opération de pose, on peut couvrir le mur 3 des couches de décoration 5 et d'isolation acoustique 7.
La couche d'isolation acoustique 7 permet de réduire le niveau de bruit provenant de l'extérieur.
Lorsque la couche de décoration 5 est microporeuse, le revêtement mural 1 permet de piéger et d'amortir le son émis dans une pièce, et ainsi de limiter la réverbération acoustique. Lorsque la couche d'isolation acoustique 7 présente en outre des propriétés d'isolation thermique, le revêtement mural 1 permet de limiter les échanges thermiques entre une pièce et l'extérieur.
on remarquera également que ce revêtement mural peut être posé sur des murs présentant des irrégularités, la couche d'isolation acoustique 7 permettant de lisser ces dernières et de donner ainsi l'impression que la couche de décoration 5 est posée sur une surface parfaitement plane.
Bien entendu, la présente invention n'est pas limitée au mode de réalisation décrit et représenté, fourni à titre d'exemple illustratif et non limitatif.
C'est ainsi que le revêtement mural pourrait comporter une couche auto-adhésive protégée par une pellicule de protection que l'on enlève avant de poser le revêtement sur un mur.

Claims (7)

<U>REVENDICATIONS</U>
1. Revêtement mural (1) comprenant une couche de décoration (5) destinée à être vue et une couche d'isolation acoustique (7) destinée à être positionnée entre ladite couche de décoration (5) et un mur (3), caractérisé en ce que ladite couche d'isolation (7) est solidaire de ladite couche de décoration (5).
2. Revêtement mural (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche de décoration (5) est microporeuse.
3. Revêtement mural (1) selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche d'isolation acoustique (7) présente également des propriétés d'isolation thermique.
4. Revêtement mural (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que lesdites couches de décoration (5) et d'isolation (7) sont maintenues solidaires l'une de l'autre par collage.
5. Revêtement mural (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que lesdites couches de décoration (5) et d'isolation (7) sont maintenues solidaires l'une de l'autre par thermocollage.
6. Revêtement mural (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche de décoration (5) est formée dans un matériau choisi dans le groupe comprenant la toile de verre, le non-tissé et le papier.
7. Revêtement mural (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ladite couche d'isolation (7) est un molleton formé dans un matériau choisi dans le groupe comprenant la Viscose (marque déposée), le polyester, le polypropylène et le coton.
