Le domaine général de l'invention est celui des dispositifs de visualisation utilisés pour la gestion de systèmes complexes. Le dispositif de visualisation comprend les fonctionnalités suivantes :. les informations d'un même type sont disposées dans un plan donné (L1, L2 et L3) ;. les différents plans sont présentés en superposition sur un écran de visualisation ;. le dispositif comporte des moyens de commande permettent de sélectionner l'un quelconque des dits plans ;. le plan sélectionné est affiché au premier plan ;. les plans non sélectionnés sont affichés en arrière-plan, la visibilité intrinsèque des informations desdits plans non sélectionnés étant sensiblement diminué.
