Abstract

L'invention concerne un moteur (10) à combustion interne, comportant un circuit d'admission (16) et un circuit d'échappement (20) qui comporte un conduit d'échappement (38) comportant successivement un tronçon amont (42) de conduit reliant un collecteur d'échappement (36) à une turbine (22T) d'un premier turbocompresseur (22), un tronçon intermédiaire (44) de conduit reliant la turbine (22T) à une turbine (24T) d'un second turbocompresseur (24) et un tronçon aval (46) de conduit reliant la turbine (24T) à un dispositif de dépollution (26) des gaz d'échappement comportant au moins un catalyseur (72), caractérisé en ce que le moteur (10) comporte au moins un conduit principal de dérivation (144) des gaz d'échappement qui, parallèlement au conduit d'échappement (38) et indépendamment des turbines (22T) et (24T), est apte à établir, sélectivement, une circulation de tout ou partie des gaz d'échappement directement du collecteur d'échappement (36) vers le dispositif de dépollution (26).
