Abstract

La présente invention à pour objet un revêtement minéral, intumescent, anti-incendie, isolant thermique et phonique, capable de retarder l'effet du feu sur l'effondrement des structures porteuses des bâtiments, en cas d'incendie, composé de - sulfate de calcium di hydraté ou plâtre pour 40 à 80% - carbonate de calcium, sous forme naturel ou synthétique, pour 5 à 25 % - silice finement divisée et absorbante, naturelle ou synthétique, pour 5 à 20 %. - Un silicate alcalin, en solution aqueuse, pour 5 à 20 % - Un tensioactif amphotère sous forme de solution aqueuse pour 0,5 à 3 %. - Un polymère organique hydrosoluble, miscible aux silicates alcalins sous forme d'une solution aqueuse, pour 0,5 à 3%. L'invention concerne également le procédé d'application dudit revêtement, par gâchage à l'eau et dépôt, pulvérisation ou projection sur les surfaces à protéger.
