Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a device for packaging a cosmetic product comprising: a support, at least one unit dose of product carried by the support.

The cosmetic product powders are, for example, make-up or care products for a user's body surface, such as foundations, colors, blushes, eye shadows, makeup powders. More generally, "cosmetic product" means a product as defined in Regulation EC No. 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products. The packaging device generally comprises a support on which the powder is arranged. The powder must then be applied by the user to the desired body surface in the presence of an applicator. To do this, US 2012/0216824 A1 describes a device that includes a makeup tool in which the user's finger is inserted. This object can be used to apply powder. However, this object is unattractive, impractical and cumbersome. On the other hand, it is interesting for the user to have a suitable dose of product. To do this, we know single-dose capsules of anti-wrinkle products marketed by Diadermine. However these capsules are not suitable for the distribution of powder and the display of the product requires contact between the product and the finger of the user. To overcome this problem, FR 2 820 010 A1 describes a device in which a single-dose foam applicator is stored in a closed volume under compression in the presence of product. The applicator is then released for direct use without contact between the user's finger and the product. This device provides packaging in the form of unit doses of products which is favorable to the preservation of the product. However, the simplicity of application is limited by the presence of an applicator. An object of the invention is to obtain a device for packaging powders of cosmetic product which is very easy to use during the application of the product. For this purpose, the invention relates to a device of the aforementioned type, wherein the dose is formed by a block of self-supporting powder, the block being fixed on the support by a repositionable adhesive.

The device according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken in isolation or in any technically possible combination: the adhesive is applied directly to an external surface of the powder block; the block of powder is detachable from a position fixed on the support towards a position detached from the support, a part of the adhesive being able to remain on the block of powder in the detached position; the block of powder has a surface fixed on the support and the maximum dimension of said surface is less than 1.5 cm; the powder forming the block of powder is compressed, cast or molded; the device comprises a protection element carried by the support, the protection element covering at least one block of powder; the device comprises at least two blocks of powder of different compositions carried by the support; the device comprises a housing containing the support, and a plurality of blocks of powder carried by the support, the support being able to be extracted progressively from the housing in order to successively move the different blocks out of the housing - the support is wound around a axis in the housing; the support comprises a flexible band; the device comprises at least a first unit dose of product, and at least a second unit dose of product, the support defining a pre-cut line separating the first dose from the second dose. The subject of the invention is also a method of manufacturing a device for packaging a cosmetic product comprising the following steps: providing a support, and at least one unit dose of product carried by the support, the dose being formed by a block of self-supporting powder, - fixing the powder block on the support by a repositionable adhesive. The manufacturing method according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken in isolation or in any technically possible combination: the fixing step involves the application of the repositionable adhesive directly on a surface external of the product block by spraying. The invention also relates to a method for applying a cosmetic product to a body surface, comprising the following steps: providing a device as defined above; - manual entry of a block of powder, - manual application of the powder block on an area of the body surface. The application method according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken separately or in any technically possible combination: it comprises the following steps: detachment of at least a part of the repositionable adhesive with the powder block during manual entry - glue the powder block onto a user's finger with the repositionable adhesive on the powder block.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which will follow, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a side view of a first device; according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a top view in perspective of three quarters face of the device of Figure 1; FIG. 3 is a view of a user's finger during a first step of an application method according to the invention implemented using the device of FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a view similar to Figure 3, in a second step of the method according to the invention; - Figure 5 is a partially cutaway perspective side view of a second device according to the invention. A first device 10 for packaging a cosmetic product according to the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2. The device 10 comprises a support 12 and at least one unit dose 14 of product carried by the support 12. In the example shown in FIG. the figures, the support 12 carries a plurality of doses 14 spaced apart from each other. The carrier 12 has an upper surface 16 and a lower surface 18 and a thickness 20. In the example, the carrier 12 is formed by a flexible web of material, such as plastic, metal, cardboard, or paper. The flexibility of the strip facilitates the handling of the device 10. With reference to FIG. 2, the support 12 defines precut lines 22. These lines 22 separate the unit doses of adjacent products 14. These lines 22 define separable individual regions 24 on the support 12. The support 12 is able to be broken manually along these lines 22 to separate each individual region 24 from the rest of the support 12. The product forming each dose 14 is a powder.

The powder is advantageously intended for the makeup or care of a body surface of a user. The powder is for example a foundation, a color, an eye shadow, a blush, a makeup powder. The powder is for example intended to be applied to the user's face, especially on his cheeks, on his eyelids or on his eyelashes. The dose 14 is formed from dry powders, or on the contrary from powders dispersed in a liquid, such as an organic solvent or water, or powders dispersed in a fatty medium or silicone. The powder is for example compacted, pressed, cast or molded.

In one example, all doses 14 carried by the support 12 are formed with the same powder. Alternatively, the colors and types of powders vary from one dose to another. The unit dose of product 14 comprises a block of powder 26 releasably attached to the support 12 by a repositionable adhesive 32.

This block 26 has a base 28 of surface S applied to the support 12 and a height H which protrudes from the support 12. The block 26 has for example a dome, tip, cube, parallelepiped, pyramid shape , cylinder or any other form. The dimensions of the block 26 are adapted to provide a good hold of the block 26 on the support 12 and a good hold of the block 26 on the user's finger when it is detached from the support 12. The surface S of the base 28 of the block 26 advantageously has a maximum dimension less than the width of a finger of the user, for example less than 3 cm and in particular less than 1.5 cm.

Block 26 is self-supporting. The term "self-supporting" advantageously means that the block 26 has a clean mechanical strength, this mechanical strength being sufficient so that it does not collapse under the effect of its own weight. A layer 30 of adhesive 32 is placed directly on the block 26 to fix the block 26 on the support 12.

The layer 30 has a thickness less than the maximum height H of the block 26, taken perpendicular to the support 12. The layer 30 at least partially covers the base 28 of the block 26, in particular at least 50% of the surface S of the base 28. This ensures that the block 26 is held in position on the upper surface 16 of the support 12.

The adhesive 32 is repositionable. It ensures the temporary and reversible fixing of the block 26 on the support 12, then the block 26 on the finger 34 of the user. The block 26 is detachable from a position fixed on the support 12 to a position detached from the support 12. In addition, the adhesive 32 allows the manual and reversible removal of the block 26 away from the support 12, without structural deterioration of the block 26, then the removal of the block 26 of the finger 34. The minimum detachment force of the block 26 is greater than the weight of the block 26. The value of the adhesion is measured by an adhesion test or peel test standardized PSTC-1 M. This adhesion value depends on the substrate. The adhesion values are advantageously between 30 N / dm and 46 N / dm.

Thus, after bonding the block 26 with the adhesive 32 on the finger 34 of the user, the block 26 does not fall if the user returns his finger 34. Similarly, when the support 12 is returned for the block 26 protrudes downwards, the block 26 remains fixed on the support 12. When detaching the block 26 away from the support 12, at least a portion of the adhesive 32, for example at least 30% of the volume of the Adhesive 32 is adapted to remain attached to block 26. Adhesive 32 is dermocompatible to permit contact with finger 34. Alternatively, adhesive 32 is water soluble. The adhesive 32 is for example chosen from polymers with acrylic or methacrylic units, crosslinked or otherwise, adhesives based on acrylates or methacrylates or based on vinylester. The block 26 is immobilized by its base 28 on the upper surface 16 of the support 12. The adhesive layer 32 holds the block 26 on the support 12. In a variant, an intermediate layer is disposed between the block 26 of product and the adhesive layer 32. A method of manufacturing a device 10 for packaging a cosmetic product according to the invention will now be described. Initially a support 12 and blocks 26 of self-supporting powders are provided. In this example, the housing 40 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape.

The opening 46 is a slot defined on a face of the housing 40. A repositionable adhesive 32 is applied to each block 26 of powder, for example by spraying. The block 26 is then reversibly fixed on the support 12 by means of the adhesive 32.

A method of applying a cosmetic product to a body surface of a user from a packaging device 10 will now be described.

Initially, a packaging device 10 comprising blocks 26 of cosmetic product fixed on a support 12 by a repositionable adhesive 32 is provided. The user advantageously detaches an individual region 24 of the support 12 containing at least one dose 14 by tearing the precut lines 22.

The user then grabs a block 26 of cosmetic product with his fingers and detaches it from the support 12. As previously indicated, at least a portion of the adhesive layer 32 is detached from the support 12 together with the block 26. The block 26 is transferred and glued by the user on a surface opposed to the nail of his finger 34, using the adhesive 32, as shown in Figure 3. The user then applies the product to an area selected from its body surface 36 directly by means of its finger 34. This area 36 is for example a eyelid as shown in Figure 4. The use of the finger 34 ensures high accuracy when laying the product.

Then, once the product is applied, the user detaches the repositionable adhesive 32 and the rest of the block 26 if necessary, for example by rinsing the finger 34. A second device 38 according to the invention is described in FIG. Blocks 26 of cosmetic product are fixed by a repositionable adhesive 32 on a support 12 as in the previous example.

The second device 38 differs from the first device 10 in that the support 12 of the blocks 26 is partly contained in a housing 40. The housing 40 defines an interior volume 42 opening through an opening 46 for extracting the support 12 in an external volume 44. The opening 46 has a shape and dimensions allowing the extraction of the support 12 with the blocks 26. The direction perpendicular to the opening 46 defines an axis D1 for extracting the support 12. In this example, the support 12 is formed by a continuous strip wound in the casing 40, and unwinding out of the housing through the opening 46. The band of the support 12 successively carries the plurality of blocks 26 spaced longitudinally. The blocks 26 are separated from each other by precut lines 22. At least one inner portion 48 of the support strip 12 is contained in the inner volume 42 of the housing 40. The inner portion 48 is wound around an axis D2. The axis D2 passes through the inside of the housing 40 and is preferably perpendicular to the axis D1. It passes for example through the center of the housing 40.

An outer portion 50 of the support strip 12 projects out of the housing 40 into the outer volume 44. The second device 38 according to the invention also differs from the first device 10 in that a protective element 52 is placed on the surface 16 of the support 12. The protection element 52 has an application wall on the support 12 and, for each block 26, a hollow shell 54 receiving the block 26. Each shell 54 has a complementary shape and a slightly greater volume. to the volume of the block 26 of powder that it receives, for example greater than 1% of the volume of the block of powder 26. The protective element 52 also comprises pre-cut lines 56 disposed on either side of the shell 54 next to the precut lines 22 on the support 12. The precut lines 56 delimit individual separable regions, detachable from the protective element 52 opposite the individual regions separates The protective element 52 is detachably attached to the support 12 via the application wall. The portion of the protective element 52 located inside 42 of the housing 40 is also wound around the axis D2. In this example, the blocks 26 are not very sensitive to falls because they are stored in the distribution box 40. In addition, the presence of the protection element 52 makes the blocks 26 less sensitive to falls. Advantageously, the blocks 26 of successive powders are of different types, for example to provide color palettes. The method of manufacturing the second conditioning device 38 according to the invention is as follows. As before, a layer 30 of adhesive 32 is sprayed onto the blocks 26 of powder. The blocks 26 with the layer 30 of adhesive 32 are deposited on a pre-cut support 12. The assembly formed by the pre-cut support 12 and the blocks 26 adhering to the support 12 is covered by the protection element 52.

The longitudinal assembly formed by the support 12 carrying the blocks 26 and the protective element 52 covering the support 12 is wound up, then placed in a housing 40 having an opening 46, so that an outer portion of the together is accessible through the opening 46. The method of applying a cosmetic product from a packaging device 38 according to the invention differs from the previous method by the following steps.

Initially, a conditioning device 38 as described above is provided to the user. The support 12 carrying the blocks 26 covered by the protection element 52 is received in the inner volume 42 by being wound around the axis D2. The user grasps the end of the support 12 and unrolls the support 12 and the protection element 52 through the opening 46 along the axis D1. This extracts an externally available portion 50 of the housing 40 which has the desired powder blocks 26. The user then cuts an individual region 24 of the support 12 and the zone facing the protection element 52 according to the precut lines 22 and 56. The user then removes the protective shell 54 which covers the block 26, for access to block 26. The application method is then the same previously described for the first device 10 according to the invention. The invention which has just been described, provides the user with a device 10, 38 allowing the application of powder in a simple, pleasant and precise manner. This device 10, 38 does not require the use of external accessories. It allows the use of unit doses 14 of cosmetics. The use in unit dose 14 does not affect the aesthetic appearance of the product. The doses 14 are easy to use since they are detachable from the support 12. The positioning of the block 26 on the finger by means of the repositionable adhesive 32 allows an effective and precise application of the product on the area to be made up. The presence of a layer 30 of adhesive 32 on block 26 avoids direct and undesired contact between the product and the user's finger. In addition, the repositionable adhesive 32 removes the finger after application of the product, the remaining adhesive and product.

Claims (15)

1. A device (10; 38) for conditioning a cosmetic product comprising: - a support (12), - at least one unit dose of product (14) carried by the support (12), in which the dose (14) ) is formed by a block (26) of self-supporting powder, the block (26) being fixed on the support (12) by a repositionable adhesive (32). The device (10; 38) of claim 1, wherein the adhesive (32) is applied directly to an outer surface of the powder block (26). 3. A device (10; 38) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, wherein the block (26) of powder is detachable from a fixed position on the support (12) to a detached position away from the support (12), a portion of the adhesive (32) being adapted to remain on the block (26) of powder in the detached position. 4.- Device (10; 38) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the block (26) of powder has a surface fixed on the support (12) and the maximum dimension of said surface is less than 1.5 cm. 5. A device (10; 38) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the powder forming the block (26) of powder is compressed, cast or molded. 6.- Device (38) according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a protective element (52) carried by the support (12), the protective element (52) covering at least one block (26) of powder . 7.- Device (10; 38) according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising at least two blocks (26) of powder of different compositions carried by the support (12). 8.- Device (38) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising a housing (40) containing the support (12), and a plurality of blocks (26) of powder carried by the support (12), the support (12). ) being able to be extracted gradually from the housing (40) to successively output the different blocks (26) out of the housing (40). 9. - Device (38) according to claim 8, wherein the support (12) is wound around an axis (D2) in the housing (40). 10. A method of manufacturing a device (10; 38) for packaging a cosmetic product comprising the following steps: providing a support (12), and at least one dose (14) unit of product carried by the support (12), the dose (14) being formed by a block (26) of self-supporting powder, - fixing the block (26) of powder on the support (12) by a repositionable adhesive (32). The method of claim 12, wherein the step of attaching comprises applying the repositionable adhesive (32) directly to an outer surface of the product block (26) by spraying. 14. A method of applying a cosmetic product to a body surface, comprising the following steps: providing a device (10; 38) according to any one of claims 1 to 11; - manual entry of a block (26) of powder, - manual application of the block (26) of powder on an area of the body surface (36). 15.- Method according to claim 14, comprising the following steps: - detachment of at least a portion of the repositionable adhesive (32) with the block (26) of powder during manual entry - bonding of the block (26) powdering the finger (34) of a user with the repositionable adhesive (32) present on the block (26) of powder. 25
